Recrutiment FAQs
-
At Monolith, we're committed to creating the best possible experience for candidates. With this in mind, we look to respond to all applications within one working week.
-
This varies from role to role but typically will take the following form.
First, you'll have a 30 minute call with one of our Talent Partner's. They will tell you more about Monolith and the role, and ask about your background. We’ll also ask a few housekeeping questions to make sure we’re aligned moving forward.
Next, you’ll spend an hour with the hiring manager and a team member. This will be a technical interview. We’ll also give you a chance to ask questions — interviewing is a two-way street and you need to make sure we’re the right fit for you.
Depending on the role, the second interview will either be a take-home task, presentation, or coding exercise. Don’t worry — you won’t need to spend too much time on it; generally it will take a maximum of two hours.
Finally you will spend 45 to 60 minutes with one of our directors and a team member. This is to ask culture-based questions and give you a chance to meet a few more people on the team.

No. We consider ourselves to be flexible in the way we work so we'd recommend you wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.
-
Given we're remote-first, our interviews typically take place over Microsoft Teams. However, if you'd prefer your interview to take place in person just let us know and we'll see what we can do.
